As an LVT at Maple Leaf Pet Corner, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of pets and their owners in our community. Responsibilities:
Assisting veterinarians in routine examinations and surgical and dental procedures Administering medication and treatments to patients as directed by the veterinarian Performing diagnostics such as radiographs, blood pressure readings, and collecting laboratory samples Providing compassionate care for animals during their stay at the clinic Educating pet owners on general pet care and medication administration Working closely and communicating harmoniously with other clinic staff and Drs.
Requirements:
Knowledge of animal care practices and general practice medical procedures as per LVT licensing standards Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Compassion and empathy for animals and their owners Ability to stand for long periods and lift 40 lbs
