Market Float ED Techs We are seeking Market Float ED Techs for our Hilton Head Hospital team! This position may be eligible for a Sign On Bonus! Location: This position will float to all four local Emergency Departments:
Hilton Head Hospital - 25 Hospital Center Blvd, Hilton Head, South Carolina 29926 Coastal Carolina Medical Center - 1000 Medical Center Dr, Hardeeville, SC 29927 Tidewatch Freestanding ED - 349 Tidewatch Dr West, Bluffton, SC 29910 Bluffton Freestanding ED - 8 Parkside Ave, Bluffton, SC
Shift: Night (7pm-7am) shift Status: Part Time – Weekend and holiday rotation required Our Emergency Department is a 25-bed unit that specializes in providing immediate medical care for patients with severe or urgent illnesses or injuries. It is equipped to handle a wide range of services, including initial assessment, treatment, stabilization, emergencies, from minor injuries to life-threatening conditions and potentially admission to the hospital. Our preferred patient ratio is 4-5:1.

Duties:
Obtain and record vital signs and report abnormal findings.
Monitor patient status and cardiac rhythms, alerting RNs to any acute changes in condition.
Stock and organize trauma bays and exam rooms with essential medical supplies. A variety of basic patient care activities in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients. Responsible for completing a variety of department specific tasks to assist with optimal department safety and functioning
What We're Looking For:
Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. Experience: Prefer at least one year Nurse Aide experience. Experience in basic patient care, phlebotomy, EKG in an emergency or outpatient setting highly desirable. Demonstrates standards of performance (ownership, teamwork, communication, compassion) that support patient satisfaction and principles of service excellence. Performs other duties as assigned. Individual will possess commensurate combination of education, experience and qualifications. Licensure/Certification: CNA I
