Registered Nurse - OBGYN/Med Surg/Post Partum/Pediatrics Location: Athens, TN Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule: Shift: 19:00-07:00 Job Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse with a specialty in OBGYN, Med Surg, Post Partum, and Pediatrics to provide care in our healthcare facility. The role includes working in a dynamic environment where strong nursing skills are essential. The registered nurse will also be responsible for managing medical-surgical patients due to the low birthrate, providing comprehensive care to all ages. Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care in OBGYN, Med Surg, and Pediatrics. Monitor and assess patients' conditions. Perform IV and NG tube placements, fundal checks. Collaborate with healthcare teams to devise treatment plans. Document patients' medical histories and symptoms.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in OBGYN and Med-Surg nursing. Licensed RN in the state of Tennessee. Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN, BLS, HWC, NRP, and PALS.
