Compassionate Caregiver Wanted for 2nd Shift CNA Position St. Luke's Hospital Transitional Care Center in Cedar Rapids IA is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team on the 2nd shift, from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, on a full-time basis. As a CNA at our facility, you will play a crucial role in providing personalized care and support to our residents while promoting their independence and well-being. Responsibilities:
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff Provide emotional support and companionship to residents Assist with mobility and transfers using proper lifting techniques Document care provided and communicate effectively with healthcare team members Maintain a clean and organized environment for residents Qualifications:
Active CNA certification in the state of Iowa Previous experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate and patient demeanor Ability to work effectively in a team environment Must be able to stand and move for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds About St. Luke's Hospital Transitional Care Center: St. Luke's Hospital Transitional Care Center is a part of UnityPoint Health - St. Luke's Hospital, a leading healthcare provider in Cedar Rapids, IA.
