Become a vital part of a Houston, TX health system as an experienced CT Technologist. You will accurately interpret physician scanning instructions, administer contrast material per protocol, and operate CT scanning equipment to support patient diagnosis and treatment. Familiarity with EPIC charting and adherence to safety and radiation protection standards are required. Minimum Qualifications: Minimum 2 years CT technologist experience. Completion of a JRCERT-accredited radiologic technology program or equivalent. Current ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT) required. Current BLS certification required. Experience working with EPIC electronic medical record system. CT experience in an acute care or hospital setting required. Experience with Siemens CT equipment preferred.
Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in a high-volume health system CT department. Orientation or cross-coverage experience in multiple CT suites preferred.
Assignment Details Shift hours: 1900-0700. Typical schedule: 3x12 shifts (example pattern: Saturday through Tuesday evenings per site shift notes). Orientation: 12 hours. Charting system: EPIC. May be required to float to other locations within the health system.

Impacting Patient Care You will support timely and accurate diagnostic imaging that directly informs clinical decision-making. Work will involve collaboration with radiologists, nurses, and ancillary staff to ensure patient safety, image quality, and appropriate use of contrast. Your role will contribute to efficient patient throughput and quality outcomes within the health system.
