Duties & Responsibilities:
Assessment and analysis. Initiates data collection and analysis that includes pertinent objective and subjective data regarding the health status of the residents. Responsible for ongoing resident assessment, including assimilation of data gathered from LPNs and other members of the health care team. Problem identification. Planning. Plan nursing care which will assist residents with maintaining or restoring health and wellness or supporting a dignified death. Implementation. Implements the plan of care by initiating nursing interventions* through giving direct care and supervising other members of the care team. *Exceptions: This facility is not licensed to serve "medically fragile" residents who require specialized medical care and treatment such as (but not limited to): IV therapies requiring monitoring of vital signs and dose titration dependent on lab values; wound care requiring external vacuum or other mechanical devices for debridement; complicated wound care requiring other specialized or extensive interventions and treatment; ventilator or other respiratory device dependence and monitoring; dependence on licensed staff for complex respiratory support; and peritoneal or hemodialysis (on-site) Evaluation. Evaluates the responses of individuals to nursing interventions and is responsible for the analysis and modification of the nursing care plan consistent with intended outcomes. Record keeping and documentation. Coordinate health care between the resident, their chosen health professionals, and the ESF.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must have demonstrated knowledge of standard care practices
Ability to teach, instruct and/ or train staff as required by resident and program needs
Education: Bachelor of Science or Masters of Science degree in nursing (BSN/MSN) and/or a minimum of two years of experience is preferred.
Experience: Experience in mental health setting, with demonstrated ability to relate effectively with people of varied backgrounds, is preferred.
Licensure/Certification: RN per WAC 246-840
Schedule:
Sun, 3-11pm & Mon 11am-11pm Flexible for more hours for vacation and call outs.
Compensation:$45-$55/hour Wages are determined by applicable industry experience, education, and certifications/licensure. $3,500 sign on bonus! Benefits:
