General Dentist - Pediatric Office | Bakersfield, CAFull-Time or Part-Time Opportunity A well-established pediatric-focused dental office in Bakersfield, CA is seeking a friendly, patient-centered General Dentist to join our growing team. This position is open to both full-time and part-time candidates, and new graduates with an interest in pediatrics are encouraged to apply. About the Opportunity Join a supportive, family-friendly pediatric practice committed to providing gentle, high-quality care to children of all ages. Our ideal candidate is open to working in a pediatric environment-previous experience with children is a plus, but not required. You will be supported by a rotating team of assistants, ensuring you always have help chairside. Compensation Structure
Daily Base: $800-$900/day to start (flexible depending on experience) Compensation Model: Begin on a daily base, then transition to percentage of production after an initial period Insurance & Payor Mix
Majority Medi-Cal (state insurance) Some PPO accepted No HMO ScheduleOpen to Full-Time or Part-Time
Full-Time: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:30 PM Part-Time: Flexible, ideally Monday-Tuesday or Thursday-Friday (same hours) Clinical Scope The doctor will focus on pediatric general dentistry. The following procedures are referred out:
Implants Periodontics Oral Surgery Endodontics Orthodontics Office Information
Team: 6 team members currently (actively hiring additional staff) Assistants: Rotating assistants-doctor will never work without support Operatories: 4 treatment rooms 6 open-bay hygiene chairs Technology: Open Dental EHR; limited specialty equipment due to the nature of pediatric care Benefits
