Conduct evaluations for patients across all age groups, utilizing both standardized assessments and observational methods. Create tailored treatment plans that meet immediate needs and work toward long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing goals. Deliver personalized speech therapy interventions, focusing on areas such as language, voice, fluency, and swallowing skills. Team up with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to establish unified care strategies. Provide education to patients and their families that supports continuous progress outside of clinical settings. Assist with periodic inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions to ensure comprehensive care throughout the treatment continuum. Keep comprehensive and accurate documentation adhering to state and federal regulations as well as organizational policies. Engage in ongoing education and collaboration with peers to remain updated with advancements in the field. Educational Qualifications
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), if not ASHA-certified. Certifications Required
Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Desirable: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be acquired within 30 days of hiring. Essential Skills

Exceptional interpersonal communication skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Adeptness at adapting therapeutic techniques to accommodate varied cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Strong clinical discernment coupled with problem-solving capabilities.
