Deliver personalized speech therapy interventions covering areas of language, fluency, voice, and swallowing. Collaborate seamlessly with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, caregivers, and families to establish cohesive care plans. Provide guidance and education to patients and their families, ensuring continued progress outside of clinical sessions. Conduct occasional inpatient evaluations and therapy, securing continuity of care throughout the entire treatment process. Keep thorough and timely records in compliance with all relevant guidelines and regulations. Engage in ongoing education to stay competitive in the evolving field of speech-language pathology through shared knowledge and collaboration with peers. Education
A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), leading to ASHA certification if applicable. Certifications
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within 30 days post-employment. Skills
