Our appointments are 30 to 60 minutes because we practice individualized medicine, and we prioritize the emotional well-being of our patients. Culture isn't a buzzword here. An assistant with at least 3 years of veterinary assistant or tech experience in appointments
Someone who stays curious, looks for ways to keep improving, and genuinely wants to grow in this field
Skilled, confident, and comfortable in a busy environment
Compensated for anesthesia, dentistry, and general surgery experience
A people-person who enjoys building trust with clients
Someone who learns quickly, communicates clearly, and brings positive energy
Able to take care of yourself, not burn yourself out
A teammate who laughs, supports others, and can shift gears gracefully
Someone who understands what good culture looks like, and you want to be part of a team that protects it. What Youll Do Youll work 3540 hours per week (Mon-Fri with rotating Saturdays, plus occasional kitty-boarding shifts). Your days will include:
Assisting doctors in 30-60 minute appointments
Client education
Fear Free handling
Surgical prep
Phlebotomy in the exam rooms, in front of the owners
Radiographs (dental & full body)
Administering vaccines, fluids, and injections
Running IDEXX in-house labs
Cytology, ear treatments, nail trims
Processing platelet-rich plasma
Laser and PulseVet therapies
Filling prescriptions
Keeping the clinic tidy
Helping teammates grow
Enjoying adorable puppy and kitten appointments
