Conduct thorough physical exams, assess medical histories, and evaluate patient symptoms to diagnose health conditions Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as blood work, imaging, and other assessments to guide effective treatment decisions Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs Prescribe medications, therapies, and interventions for both acute and chronic health conditions Provide ongoing disease management, ensuring the best care for patients' long-term health Educate and Support Patients:
Provide guidance to patients and their families on their health conditions, treatment options, and lifestyle changes Offer preventive care services such as screenings, immunizations, and wellness check-ups Counsel patients on health maintenance, nutrition, and self-care strategies for optimal well-being Collaborate with Healthcare Teams:
Work closely with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and treatment plans Participate in case discussions and contribute valuable insights to improve patient care Support and mentor nursing staff and healthcare team members to promote excellent patient outcomes Monitor and Adjust Patient Care:
Regularly evaluate and monitor patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary Document patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress in electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with healthcare regulations Advocate for improvements in care based on patient feedback and evolving healthcare standards Qualifications:
Master's degree in nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Active Nebraska Nurse Practitioner license Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (e.g., Family Nurse Practitioner, Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner, etc.) Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications preferred Prior experience in a Nurse Practitioner or Registered Nurse (RN) role is preferred Strong clinical skills in assessing, diagnosing, and managing a wide range of health conditions Excellent communication skills to engage with patients and collaborate with the healthcare team Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care What We Offer:
