Provides direct instructional services to students in individual or small group settings under the supervision of the SLP and in alignment with the students' communication goals as outlined in their IEPs.
Prepares materials necessary for speech and language lessons, including activity materials, visual schedules, picture icons, topic boards.
Performs informal record keeping and basic clerical duties to support the supervising SLP. Assists the SLP in scheduling therapy sessions Maintains files/records of required documentation
Qualifications: Speech Language Pathology Assistant License through the Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology, Division of Professional Licensure, Commonwealth of Massachusetts
