Conduct evaluations across broad populations-pediatric, adult, and geriatric-using comprehensive assessments and keen observational skills. Create customized treatment plans that hone in on short-term and long-lasting communication, cognitive, and swallowing goals. Implement one-on-one speech therapy sessions with a focus on communication, voice, fluency, and swallowing. Collaborate with a diverse care team, including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and family members. Provide education to patients and families, empowering them to support progress beyond therapy sessions. Contribute to occasional inpatient evaluations and treatment to ensure seamless continuity of care. Keep detailed documentation that adheres to regulatory requirements. Engage in continuing education and team collaboration to stay current in the field. Qualifications
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified. Specialized Certifications
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hiring. Your Skills

Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and multi-disciplinary teams.
