Job Posting Essen Health Care is seeking a DEXA Radiology Technologist (Per Diem) to join our imaging team. This role is responsible for performing bone density scans (DEXA) and ensuring accurate, high-quality imaging to support diagnosis and treatment planning. This is an excellent opportunity for new graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in a supportive clinical environment. Responsibilities
Perform DEXA (bone density) scans in accordance with established protocols Ensure proper patient positioning and safety during procedures Educate patients on exam procedures and address questions/concerns Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation Follow all radiation safety and infection control protocols Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure timely and accurate results Maintain and troubleshoot DEXA equipment as needed
Qualifications
ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist (required) NY State Radiologic Technologist license (or eligible) New graduates welcome to apply Experience with DEXA or general radiology preferred, but not required Strong attention to detail and patient care skills Ability to work independently in a per diem capacity
