Cooperidge Consulting Firm is seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join one of our top healthcare clients in Roanoke, Virginia. This role offers a full-time opportunity with a respected medical facility, providing professional growth, stability, and an excellent benefits package. The CT Technologist will perform advanced diagnostic imaging procedures using ionizing radiation to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients across all age groups. The position requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal skills to deliver quality patient care in a safe and compassionate manner. Key Responsibilities
Perform a variety of CT imaging procedures using prescribed ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes.
Operate specialized radiologic equipment to obtain high-quality images.
Administer IV contrast injections and other procedures as required.
Evaluate and position patients with professionalism, care, and safety awareness.
Ensure compliance with facility, imaging department, and regulatory policies and procedures.
Participate in training and mentorship of students and new staff as assigned.
Support workflow by assisting with patient scheduling, registration, and record management.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure proper file and data management within imaging systems.
Uphold the highest standards of ethics, courtesy, and patient confidentiality in all interactions.
Requirements
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology.
Experience: Prior CT experience preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
ARRT registry required.
CT certification must be obtained within one year of hire.
Valid BLS certification required.
Skills: Strong interpersonal communication, technical proficiency, and flexibility in work assignments.
