Perform Medical Diagnostic Imaging: Take radiologic films that provide high-quality images to aid physicians in diagnosing medical conditions. Patient Preparation & Safety: Accurately prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, following all radiation safety protocols to prevent unnecessary exposure. Maintain Equipment: Ensure that all radiology equipment is functioning properly and report any malfunctions. Documentation: Ensure prompt and accurate submission of images and documents to PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) or similar system with correct patient information and imaging markers. Radiation Safety: Follow strict radiation safety guidelines to protect patients, staff, and yourself. Radiologic Technologist Requirements / Skills:
Certification: Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification required [Location] Medical Radiologic Technologist certification required BLS Certification
Education: High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of experience OR Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology. Experience: Prior experience in diagnostic radiology preferred.
