Nights Behavioral Health Associate This position offers night shifts from 12am to 8:30am, with a commitment to working 5-8 hour shifts per week, totaling 40 hours weekly. Job Description The Behavioral Health Associate will provide critical support during the night shift, acting as a backup candidate in a comprehensive care setting. This role emphasizes crisis management, de-escalation techniques, and building therapeutic rapport with patients. A commitment to trauma-informed care and patient-centered practices is essential. Responsibilities
Utilize strong crisis-management and de-escalation skills to maintain a safe environment. Develop and maintain professional boundaries while engaging with patients to foster therapeutic relationships. Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care. Support patient care physically, including potential restraint use in accordance with policy when necessary.
Required Experience
Minimum of 6 months experience in behavioral health or related field is preferred. Strong communication and observation skills are essential to successful patient interactions. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
