Job Description Phaxis is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) in Poughkeepsie, NY, where your contributions will make a meaningful impact on patient care and overall clinic operations. We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a dynamic environment. Location - Poughkeepsie, NY Position - RN OR Schedule - Days, Monday through Friday - 40 hours/week (5x8 or 4x10) Responsibilities
Assess patients at intervals as stated in policies and procedures. Protecting the patient from injury caused by extraneous objects and chemical, electrical, laser, mechanical, and thermal sources. Performing interventions necessary to ensure that the patient's procedure is performed on the correct site, side, and level. Communicating the patient's status to relevant parties throughout the continuum of care Administering medications safely and correctly. Evaluate the patient's progress toward attaining outcomes. Document nursing care accurately, completely, and legibly. Requirements
RN NY Nursing License is required BLS and ACLS is required Certified Nurse, Operating Room (CNOR) certification preferred At least 1 year of OR RN experience is required!
