A Schedule That Gives You More Life Outside of Work Three 12-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend This condensed schedule gives you four days off each week, offering more time for rest, family, and personal priorities. It's a great fit for nurses who enjoy longer stretches of downtime and a predictable, steady rhythm to their workweek. What We Offer • Supportive, team-focused culture • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits effective the first of the month • 401(k) with generous company match • Generous PTO accruals • Paid holidays • Mileage reimbursement • Tuition reimbursement • Employee referral program • Hospice certification benefit with salary increase • Merit-based pay increases • Employee discount programs What You'll Do • Triage after-hours patient and family calls, determining needs and coordinating appropriate services • Assess physical, emotional, social, and spiritual factors impacting patient and family needs • Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, and community partners to ensure seamless care • Perform clinical pronouncements of death and provide compassionate support to families • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and care plans What You Bring • Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program • Current RN license in the state of practice • Minimum of two years of nursing experience • Strong clinical judgment and communication skills • Ability to support families through emotional and end-of-life challenges • Current CPR certification • Valid driver's license and proof of insurance If you're looking for a meaningful nursing role with a schedule that supports balance and a team that values your expertise, Day City Hospice would love to welcome you.
