Job Title: Speech Therapist We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Speech Therapist to join our team in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping patients achieve their goals and will be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Responsibilities: - Evaluate and treat patients with communication, swallowing, and cognitive disorders - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans - Document patient progress and communicate with other healthcare professionals - Provide education to patients and their families on communication and swallowing strategies - Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care Qualifications: - Current Georgia speech therapy license - Minimum of 1 year of experience - Knowledge of current speech therapy techniques and best practices - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Flexibility to work a varied schedule including weekends and holidays We offer a competitive salary and flexible scheduling options.
