Key Responsibilities: 1. Registration and Discharge: Expertly manage patient registration and discharge processes using electronic medical record systems such as Meditech, EMR, and PACS. Verify insurance and identification, ensure accurate coding and billing, and communicate care plans effectively with patients. 2. Clinical Support: Prepare patients for examinations based on their presenting complaints, promptly notify clinical staff of urgent cases, collect and document patient data, and assist with scheduling diagnostic procedures. 3. Diagnostic Testing and Treatment: Perform diagnostic imaging following established protocols, maintain radiation safety standards, operate and troubleshoot radiology equipment, and document treatments and patient responses. Maintain proficiency in related clinical skills including splinting, phlebotomy, urine drug screening, and EKG testing. 4. Medication Administration: Administer medications as directed, ensuring compliance with documentation and regulatory standards. 5. Supply Management: Order and manage clinic supplies efficiently to support daily operations. Education and Experience: - High school diploma or GED required. - Completion of a Limited or Associate Degree Radiology Technologist program preferred. - Familiarity with medical terminology, procedural and diagnostic coding. - Proficient computer skills. - Basic Life Support certification (can be obtained upon hire). - Tuberculin Screening Tester Certification (can be obtained upon hire). - Minimum of one year experience in a medical office setting, preferably in family medicine, orthopedics, or immediate care. Licensure: Must hold certification from the appropriate state health department.
