Job Description As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will:
Administer injections, draw labs, and complete head-to-toe assessments, including for adult, child, adolescent, and substance abuse individuals. Log in/out sample and patient assistance medications. Log and dispose of expired medications and complete prior authorizations for medications. Re-order prescribed injections as needed. Assist MD/APRN as needed, including taking and entering verbal orders in the electronic health record. Educate individuals on medications, including adverse reactions, side effects, and benefits. Job Requirements Current State Specific Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Certification (can be obtained during orientation) Minimum of one year paid LPN work experience within the past year of direct patient care in a similar setting Excellent phlebotomy skills Comprehensive Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance within 30 days of employment Tuition reimbursement of up to $1000 per semester after six months of full-time employment 401k eligibility after one year of full-time employment Join Us If you're ready to make a positive impact on the lives of patients while advancing your nursing career, we would love to hear from you.
