Diagnostic Radiologist Position Overview
A healthcare organization in Seneca, Pennsylvania is seeking a full-time Diagnostic Radiologist to join a well-established and collaborative team of general radiologists. The department is supported by experienced Radiology Practitioner Assistants (RPAs), enabling an efficient and balanced workflow. This role offers a broad scope of practice across multiple imaging modalities in a collegial environment.
Key Responsibilities
Interpret a wide range of diagnostic imaging studies across multiple modalities
Perform general radiology procedures, including fluoroscopy and image-guided interventions
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support comprehensive patient care
Work closely with RPAs who assist with procedures and workflow efficiency
Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care
Clinical Scope Modalities:
CT
MRI
Ultrasound
Nuclear Medicine
General Diagnostic Radiology
Procedures Include:
Fluoroscopy
Myelogram
Paracentesis
Thoracentesis
Thyroid biopsy
Lumbar puncture
Light interventional radiology procedures (including sedation cases)
Schedule & Work Environment
Full-time position
Monday through Friday, daytime hours
No travel between sites
Shared call rotation, including weekdays and weekends (approximately 1:4)
Collaborative team environment with strong RPA support
Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Radiology (American Board or Canadian Board)
Strong proficiency in cross-sectional imaging
Ability to perform a broad range of general radiology procedures
Breast imaging experience preferred, but not required
Eligible to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license
Ability to obtain required credentials and DEA certification
