Derby Assisted Living is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our team on 2nd Shift. Position: Certified Medication Aide (CMA) Shift: 2nd Shift Location: Derby Assisted Living Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour Competitive benefits available for eligible employees
Responsibilities As a CMA, you will:
Administer medications as prescribed and according to facility policies and state regulations. Monitor residents for medication effectiveness and adverse reactions. Accurately document medication administration and resident observations. Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed. Communicate effectively with residents, families, nurses, and other team members. Provide compassionate, resident-centered care that promotes dignity and independence. Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents.
Qualifications Qualifications
Current CMA certification in good standing. Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team. Strong communication and organizational skills. Compassionate attitude and commitment to providing exceptional resident care. Previous long-term care or assisted living experience preferred but not required.
