Assist with management of inventory, i.e., stocking, receiving. Accurately fill patient cassettes from cart fill list. Pick up physicians orders and deliver medications and supplies on a routine basis. Prepare IV admixture according to departmental policy and procedure. Enter patient charges and credit into hospital data system on a daily basis. Perform monthly inspections for all areas of the hospital where medications are stored. Assist in the development of pharmacy goals and participate in reaching these goals. Regularly check pharmacy stock for outdates. Assist in the dispensing of employee prescriptions and OTC's. Assume general clerical duties. Performs any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements Experience
6 months Pharmacy Tech experience required, certification by PTCB preferred
