Conduct a diverse range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging Prioritize patient safety and comfort throughout each procedure, with clear and empathetic communication Collaborate effectively with radiologists and referring clinicians to deliver precise and high-quality diagnostic images Maintain and operate imaging equipment, addressing issues as they arise to ensure optimal functionality Accurately record procedures and manage patient documentation within our electronic health records system Stay abreast of advancements in ultrasound practices to enhance service delivery Education Requirements
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program Certifications Required
Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent entity BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred Essential Skills
