At WTCSB our mission is to provide a coordinated system of quality recovery-oriented care in Mental Health, Intellectual Disability, and Substance Abuse Services to the citizens of the cities of Franklin and Suffolk and the counties of Isle of Wight and Southampton. We are seeking a FULL-TIME Certified Nurse's Aide for our following program in Suffolk, VA:
Tidewater Cove/ALF Memory Care Unit Responsibilities and Duties for CNA:
Provide direct consumer care such as bathing, dressing, toileting and assisting with
Document progress and activities, tasks performed, and response to
Report any consumer condition changes to the RN and Program Supervisor.
Serve as a role model, provide guidance and assist with medication management under the direction of the RN, LPN, and
Comply with agency policies and procedures, and adhere to all relevant local, state, and federal legal and regulatory requirements.
Transport consumers as
Qualifications and Skills for CNA:
Licensure as a Certified Nursing Assistant
1 year of nursing experience preferred
Valid driver's license with acceptable DMV record
Long term Care experience preferred
Proficient using Electronic medical records
Basic knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare Regulations preferred Benefits for Full-Time CNA: Health Insurance/Life Insurance
