Job Description Job Summary: Seeking a highly skilled Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer to perform diagnostic imaging procedures within a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will possess extensive certification and clinical experience to provide accurate and timely studies. Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic echocardiograms, including TEE, stress echos, and adult/pediatric studies. Adhere to equipment protocols on Phillips systems, managing 35-50 studies daily. Maintain a professional appearance with neat scrubs and respond promptly to on-call emergencies. Follow hospital protocols for in-patient and out-patient procedures and coordinate with cardiologists and vascular surgeons. Complete in-house and after-hours coverage according to shift schedules and holiday rotations. Document all studies thoroughly and accurately within the electronic medical record (EMR). Qualifications:
Hold ARDMS, RCS, RDMS, RDCS, RVT, or RVS certifications with a focus on adult or pediatric echo if required. Possess BLS certification and active ARDMS or RCS credentials. Have at least 1 year of recent scanning experience within the last 2 years. Demonstrate proficiency with Philips ultrasound equipment and ultrasound procedures. Maintain a professional appearance and strong communication skills. Ability to work shifts from 8:00-4:30, 9:30-5:30, or on call from 5:30 am to 7:00 am, including weekends and holidays.
