High school diploma or equivalent, required Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a medical or healthcare setting, required
In lieu of experience, graduate from an accredited Medical Billing/Coding program may be considered
Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification and/or Radiology Certified Coder (RCC) certification, preferred
Candidates who do not hold a CPC or RCC at the time of hire will be required to obtain certification within two (2) years of employment

Strong discretion and ability to handle confidential information Composure in fast-paced, high-pressure environments Willingness and ability to learn new technologies Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented Strong multitasking and independent-work capabilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Accurate documentation skills Ability to follow established workflows consistently
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM (Once hired and consistently demonstrating the ability to code independently, with a high degree of accuracy, consideration for a transition to a remote position is possible)
