Master's degree in speech-language pathology. Ability to provide clinical education and supervision. Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as an SLP. Possession of or eligibility for South Dakota state licensure as an SLP. ASHA CCC-SLP certification or eligibility.
Responsibilities:
Supervise SLP graduate student clinicians at the Scottish Rite Children's Clinic for Language and Speech. Provide direct clinical services to patients across a broad spectrum of speech-language pathology practice areas, including articulation and phonological disorders, receptive and expressive language disorders, fluency, voice and resonance, social communication, cognitive-communication, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), and accent modification. Conduct comprehensive dyslexia evaluations and provide evidence-based intervention services for children and adolescents experiencing reading and written language difficulties. Mentor and educate graduate student clinicians in evidence-based assessment and intervention practices. Contribute to the department, college, and university through service. Collaborate with faculty, clinical staff, and community partners to support the clinical education mission of the program.
