Job Summary and ResponsibilitiesAs our Sonographer, you will help Physicians record detailed images of blood, organs, tissues, and bodily masses, including unborn fetuses so they can receive critical visual data for diagnosis and prenatal care. Every day you will directly interact with patients, preparing them for and performing scans. You will be expected to explain procedures, answer questions, meticulously operate sonographic equipment (adjusting settings and patient positions to ensure clear, diagnostic images), monitor and care for patients to ensure their safety and comfort, select and examine images for pathologies, and present preliminary findings to Physicians. To be successful in this role, you will possess excellent patient service and communication skills, sharp eyesight, and meticulous attention to detail, demonstrating strong technical proficiency, sound judgment, and advanced decision-making skills to effectively capture and interpret sonographic data, ensuring optimal diagnostic support. Certificate Degree in Ultrasound. Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, upon hire or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, upon hire or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Adult Echo, upon hire
American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (CT CPRBLS), upon hire
