The Spire network spans the Northeast with more than 165 physicians, 1,800 employees, 1,800 other clinical providers and 40 locations in New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts. What you'll do:
Greeting patients in a prompt and pleasant manner. Promptly escorts patients to X-ray rooms and/or exam rooms. Enter data as required for each X-ray in PACS system in a timely manner. Performs diagnostic X-rays as requested. Interacts/communicates appropriately with physicians, patients and colleagues. Maintains and orders X-ray supplies. Files and retrieves X-rays including OR list. Generates copies of films and creates CDs of digital X-rays. Uses Medic and PACS systems to locate patient files. Erases cassettes for imaging weekly. Follows all HIPAA rules. Performs other duties/projects as assigned.
Qualifications Who you are:
Graduate of approved school of radiology required (two-year course). Valid Connecticut X-ray technician license. ARRT registered. Minimum two years of experience as X-ray technician preferred. Orthopedic experience preferred. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
