Perform thorough patient evaluations, prescribe diagnostic tests, and formulate comprehensive care plans tailored to individual needs Diagnose and manage acute, episodic, or chronic conditions independently or in partnership with physicians (depending on your credentials) Provide education to patients and their families regarding wellness, prevention, and management of diseases Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions within your practice scope Assist in patient follow-ups and chronic condition management Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated, patient-centered care Accurately document patient encounters in electronic medical records (EMR) Qualifications Needed
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Graduation from a recognized Nurse Practitioner program Mandatory Licenses and Certifications
Valid Nurse Practitioner license in California Current national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days) Skills To Bring
