Conduct thorough patient evaluations, take control of diagnostic procedures, and create tailored care plans for individuals Diagnose and manage acute, episodic, or chronic conditions either in collaboration with physicians or independently, based on your credentials Guide patients and their families through wellness, prevention, and disease management education Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions consistent with your scope of practice Engage in patient follow-ups and chronic disease management initiatives Work in a multidisciplinary team to deliver seamless, holistic care to every patient Maintain detailed and precise electronic medical records (EMR) Qualifications Needed
A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Graduation from a recognized Nurse Practitioner program Essential Certifications
Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Texas National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent of your speciality Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willing to obtain within 90 days) Attributes That Make You Unique
