Physician Assistant The Physician Assistant under the direct supervision of a Physician performs a variety of functions and technical procedures necessary for admission, assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up and outcome evaluation. Provides diagnostic, therapeutic and preventive health care services. Participates in performance improvement, research and educational activities. Requirements:
Graduate from an Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) Program or equivalent as approved by the New York State Education Department. New York State Licensed Physician Assistant Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS). New York State mandated Infection Control Course certificate Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
