Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Mississippi Minimum three (3) years recent bedside clinical experience (within last five years) Current BLS certification required Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working across multiple clinical units or service lines ACLS or specialty certifications as required by assignment
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Work required 84-hour rotation (seven 12-hour shifts per 14-day period), including weekends and holidays Provide direct patient care using the nursing process including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation Adapt to assignments across multiple departments based on staffing needs Maintain safe medication administration and accurate documentation Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care Float between units within competency and training requirements Maintain compliance with infection prevention, safety, and regulatory standards Serve as charge nurse or preceptor when assigned Maintain attendance and performance expectations throughout assignment
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods Frequent bending, reaching, squatting, and kneeling Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs independently; >50 lbs with assistance/devices Assist with patient repositioning and transfers using proper body mechanics and equipment Manual dexterity for clinical procedures and computer use; adequate vision, hearing, and speech
