Maintains sterile and non-sterile supplies for all departments within Bertrand Chaffee Hospital facilities, including the operating room Decontaminates, cleans, inspects, prepares, disinfects, and sterilizes linens, utensils, trays, endoscopes, and/or instruments Operates sterilizers, washer, decontaminator, aerators, heat sealers, carts, ultrasonic cleaner, warming cabinet, and biological incubator Maintains sterile linen packs; gathers used utensils and instruments; clerical and recording keeping work as needed Requirements:
Minimum of six (6) months' experience in a clinical setting as a para-professional or technician High School diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience Must obtain Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) certification within one year when eligibility requirements are met.
