Conduct comprehensive evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients utilizing both standardized assessments and observational methodologies. Create tailored treatment strategies that fulfill immediate objectives while supporting long-term communicative, cognitive, or swallowing goals. Deliver individualized speech therapy focused on communication, language acquisition, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing mechanics. Collaborate seamlessly with a variety of professionals including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to develop a unified approach to care. Educate patients and their families, encouraging progress beyond the therapy room. Provide assistance with sporadic inpatient speech therapy evaluations, guaranteeing continuity of care along the treatment pathway. Ensure meticulous and timely documentation compliant with state, federal, and organizational standards. Engage with ongoing professional development through continuing education and collaborative efforts with peers. Education
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is still pending. Certifications
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within the first month of employment. Skills
