Outpatient Physical Therapist - Primary Ortho, Mixed Population This is a 13-week contract position. Shift: 5x8.0, 8 hours per day The Outpatient Physical Therapist will evaluate all assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans in accordance with each patient's needs, goals, and physician direction. This role includes the delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients and ensures the design of functional treatment programs allowing for a return to community activities. Responsibilities:
Complete a comprehensive evaluation of assigned patients and utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals. Document medical records in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner, ensuring compliance with state, federal, and organizational guidelines. Participate in student programs as assigned, providing a positive learning environment with supervision and student evaluations. Actively pursue professional development through continuing education and involvement in professional activities and organizations. Maintain professional licensure in good standing and adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Acts and professional codes of conduct. Understand and follow organizational performance improvement initiatives to maximize service quality and patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school. Minimum of 1 year of outpatient clinical experience. Current CPR certification. Active and applicable state licensure for providing physical therapy.
