Hospice Registered Nurse Location: Spokane, WA Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, from 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM. Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Hospice Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to patients in Spokane, WA, and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will have experience in skilled hospice care and be proficient in Home Care Home Base (HCHB) software. Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing assessments and care planning for hospice patients. Visit up to 6 patients per day, ensuring quality care and adherence to care protocols. Perform pain assessments and administer medications as prescribed. Offer education and support to patients and their families regarding end-of-life care. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver integrated and compassionate care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
Minimum of 1 year of skilled hospice experience is required. BLS certification is required. Experience with Home Care Home Base (HCHB) and EPIC charting systems preferred. Valid WA or Compact RN license is required at the time of submission.
