Position Summary The Lead Analyst will provide analytical insight, data-driven recommendations, and structured problem-solving to support the identification and development of new business opportunities with a focus on process improvement, optimisation, and value creation. This is a hands-on role with a strong emphasis on execution, offering the successful candidate the opportunity to develop a broad skill set across analysis, delivery, and solution development. Key Responsibilities Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to gather, clarify, and document requirements. Analyse business processes, workflows, and systems to identify inefficiencies, risks, and improvement opportunities. Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications. Collect, analyse and interpret data sets, including large and unstructured data, to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities. Translate data into clear, actionable insights and customer narratives to support targeting, decision-making, and opportunity assessment. Support the identification of process gaps and optimisation opportunities within prospective customer environments. Collaborate closely with leadership to prioritise opportunities and support early-stage initiative development. Support the documentation of business requirements, process improvements, and solution approaches. Work with technical teams to support solution design, testing, and implementation activities. Monitor outcomes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Ability to work effectively with complex and imperfect data sets. Capability to translate analytical findings into clear, business-relevant insights. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare senior-level materials. Proficiency in data analysis and visualisation tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau). Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment. High level of initiative, accountability, and attention to detail. Willingness and capacity to develop skills across business, technical, and delivery domains. Qualifications and Experience L8 Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field. 4 years plus of experience in a business analysis, data analysis, or similar role. Experience working with data to generate insights and support decision-making. Exposure to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Familiarity with tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI or business intelligence platforms. Demonstrated interest in developing capabilities in project management, system design, or development.
