Medical Assistant

United Talent is immediately hiring a Medical Assistant for a hospital in the Charleston area. Job duties include checking patients in, BP and weight documentation in patient charts, assisting with verifying benefits and scheduling patient tests, helping with referral management, and assisting with phone calls.

Pay and shift: Monday Friday 8am 5pm. Pay is $13 15 per hour based on experience. Requirements include excellent customer service skills in a fast-paced work environment, data management and organizational skills, ability to communicate with people with various levels of medical knowledge in both written and verbal forms, diagnostic and problem-solving skills, and computer software proficiency.
