About the Role
We are working with our client, a specialist contractor within the roofing and cladding sector, who are seeking an experienced Roofing & Cladding Design Manager to join their growing technical team in Wrexham.
This is a key leadership role within the design function, responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality design solutions across a range of commercial and industrial roofing and cladding projects. You will play a central role in ensuring designs are accurate, buildable, compliant, and aligned with project and client requirements.
The role will suit someone with strong technical knowledge of roofing and cladding systems, combined with proven experience managing design output on projects from tender stage through to construction and handover.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the design process for roofing and cladding projects from concept through to completion Review and interpret architectural and structural drawings, specifications, and employer requirements Coordinate design outputs across internal teams, consultants, and external stakeholders Ensure all designs are compliant with relevant building regulations and industry standards Oversee detailing for roofing systems, cladding packages, and associated façade elements Manage design prog...
