Fora is seeking a part‑time Program Coordinator to support our programs team in overseeing the day‑to‑day operations of our programs. They will work closely with the programs team and other staff to deliver programming that is efficient, empathetic, and of excellent quality.

Position Overview

The Program Coordinator is a key member of our Fora team. They must be deeply committed to the vision outlined in Fora’s Strategic Plan. They should be eager to play a significant role in our efforts to promote the full participation of young women and gender‑marginalized youth in decision‑making spaces, and to challenge the status quo.

The Program Coordinator will oversee the day‑to‑day operations of Fora’s programs. The individual will work closely with the programs team, as well as other staff members, to deliver programming that is efficient, empathetic, and of excellent quality.

Key Programs
  • Rise on Boards – building more equitable and inclusive boardrooms. Since 2017, Fora’s Rise on Boards program (formerly Girls on Boards) has trained and placed 235 emerging leaders from a range of backgrounds and experiences at the board table for the first time. Young Directors receive in‑depth training in governance and leadership, and are supported by a board mentor and volunteer coach throughout their one‑year board placement.
  • Global Impact Fund – providing training and access to a micro‑grant for change leaders to design and implement social impact initiatives in their local communities.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day‑to‑day operations of Fora’s programs.
  • Work closely with the programs team and other staff to deliver programming that is efficient, empathetic, and of excellent quality.
  • Coordinate logistics and support for Rise on Boards and Global Impact Fund initiatives.
  • Contribute to program development and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align program activities with the organization’s strategic goals.
