À propos
Senior Principal Electrical Engineer
to lead hardware design and sustaining engineering activities for their new and existing infusion pump product portfolios. In this senior-level, hands-on role, you will define design requirements, engineer complex digital and analog circuit architectures for microprocessor-based systems, and mentor junior engineering teams through advanced lab testing. Working out of a world-class R&D environment, you will bridge the gap between initial electronic simulation, PCB layout oversight, and manufacturing transitions to create safety-critical medical products that save and sustain lives daily. Required Skills: Core Circuit Design:
Designs and developments robust digital electronic circuit schematics with supporting analog circuit design for microcontroller and FPGA-based safety-critical devices. CAD & Simulation:
Hands-on experience executing schematic design using electronic CAD platforms (Mentor, Cadence, or Altium Designer) and circuit modeling tools (LTSpice, Tanner, Matlab, or signal integrity simulators). Firmware Interaction:
Strong technical knowledge of
C programming for microprocessors
and an understanding of low-level software driver development or firmware verification protocols. Lab Testing & Verification:
High-level lab testing mastery including signal integrity measurement, design verification testing (DVT), and reviewing complex engineering design reports. Compliance & EMI/EMC:
Designs products to strictly conform to rigorous immunity, emissions, and ESD compliance rules under medical or highly regulated standards (IEC 60601, IEC 61010, or equivalent). Required Qualifications: Graduate or Postgraduate degree (BS/MS) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a matching technical discipline. Strict Experience Bracket:
Minimum of
15+ years of verified professional experience
in electromechanical hardware product development.
(Note: Candidates with 8–10 years of experience cannot be considered for this specific senior scope). Proven track record designing hardware for highly regulated environments (Medical Devices under FDA/ISO rules is highly preferred; Automotive or Military/Aerospace systems are also welcome). Strong project and design documentation experience with the ability to provide non-managerial mentorship and peer review to junior technicians. Interview Notice:
Must be willing and able to attend a mandatory
In-Person Onsite Round 2 Interview
at the Round Lake, IL facility. Preferred Pluses:
