[About the Role] Join a dynamic Security Operations Center (SOC) team as an Information Security Analyst, serving as the first line of defense for enterprise-level customers. You'll be the vigilant eyes on glass, detecting, assessing, and escalating security incidents in a fast-paced, 24x7 environment. [Responsibilities]
- Monitor security alerts in near real-time using advanced SIEM and proprietary cybersecurity tools - Identify Indicators of Compromise (IOCs) and escalate incidents as per service level agreements - Analyze and prioritize security events, coordinating with senior analysts for critical situations - Respond to customer Requests For Information, providing clear guidance and technical insights - Execute basic incident response activities and draft detailed escalation tickets - Maintain and enhance the SOC Knowledge Base with process improvements and documentation - Collaborate with customers, executives, and management teams to provide proactive security support
[Required Skills and Experience]
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field - 1-3 years of experience in a security-related or technical troubleshooting role (e.g., help desk) - Strong foundational knowledge of cybersecurity technologies and threat landscapes - Experience with SIEM platforms and basic incident response procedures - Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills in English
[Preferred Skills]
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field - Direct experience as an Information Security Analyst - Familiarity with cyber threat hunting and industry best practices - Practical knowledge of Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel, or similar tools - Scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash, Java, Ansible) - Experience with network troubleshooting, device logging, and forensic analysis - Industry certifications (e.g., SANS GIAC, GCIH, CompTIA Security+, CEH, CySA+, GCED, CCNP-Security)
