The Quality Assurance Technician handles ensuring the highest standards of product quality and safety are supported during the second shift. This role involves daily adherence to QA procedures, meticulous record-keeping, and conducting various tests and inspections. The technician will check micro results, oversee the release and destruction of finished products, and ensure compliance with GMP and HACCP standards. Additionally, the technician will coordinate lab sampling, perform pre-operational inspections, and aid in training employees. A key aspect of this role is working closely with Plant Operations to improve product quality, efficiency, and minimize waste. Bilingual ability in English and Spanish is needed, along with a solid understanding of GMP, HACCP, and Sanitation Standards.
Qualifications: • Degree preferred, preferably in a science field. • 3-5 years of experience. • Punctuality and reliability in work attendance. • Bilingual ability (English & Spanish), with the ability to read and write in English. Good math skills. • A clear understanding of GMP, HACCP, and Sanitation Standards (training will be provided). • QA experience in the food industry/manufacturing.
