Azure Developer - Enterprise Applications (Contract) We are hiring multiple Azure Developers as part of a broader expansion within a high-performing Investment Banking Technology team. These roles sit alongside Tech Leads and will focus on hands-on development, contributing to the build and enhancement of enterprise applications on Azure. We are seeking a
hands-on Azure Developer (Python / C#)
to design, build, and enhance enterprise-grade applications. This role focuses on full-stack development, API creation, and integration with enterprise SaaS platforms, working with highly sensitive datasets in a regulated environment. Key Responsibilities Full-Stack Development (Azure-Focused)
Build and enhance full-stack applications within IB Technology Develop cloud-native solutions using Azure services Contribute across backend, APIs, and front-end components Application Development & Ownership
Write scalable, maintainable code in Python and/or C# Improve and evolve application architecture Follow and enforce development best practices API Development & Integration
Develop robust APIs for internal and external use Integrate with enterprise SaaS platforms and third-party systems Ensure performance, reliability, and secure data handling Security & Sensitive Data Handling
Implement RBAC and secure authentication (Azure AD) Work with highly sensitive datasets in compliance with enterprise standards Apply encryption and access control best practices Regulatory & Compliance
Ensure applications meet regulatory and audit requirements Implement logging, monitoring, and traceability Collaborate with security, risk, and compliance teams Delivery & Operations
Support CI/CD pipelines and Azure deployments Improve reliability, observability, and performance Communicate progress and risks effectively
Requirements
Strong hands-on experience in
Azure development (Python and/or C#) Full-stack development experience Experience with API development and system integration Familiarity with Azure services (App Services, Functions, Azure AD, etc.) Experience working with
regulated or sensitive data environments Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team
