JOB SPECIFICATION
We are looking for an excellent candidate to join our central IT team as a Field Support Engineer to support and manage both our Hardware and Software across multiple sites and computer systems. This includes troubleshooting technical issues, implementing new solutions, maintaining network security and providing support to our 1 Line Team through our ticketing system.
THE ROLE
·Responsible for maintaining the organisations endpoint devices and computer systems.
·Responsible for implementing IT policies and ensuring compliance with security protocols
·Manages installation. Configuration and troubleshooting of hardware and software
·Respond to triage or resolve incoming 1 Line support calls. Provide initial troubleshooting, logging incidents accurately and escalating where appropriate to maintain smooth service operations.
·Regularly monitor and update network security and ensure data integrity.
·Implements and manages endpoint security solutions including regular updates and patches to protect against vulnerabilities.
·Offer basic user training on hardware and logon/security options
·Travel where required to all 6 UK sites with Gainsborough and Louth being the focused sites for IT Field Engineering tasks
·Oversee IT equipment, software licensing and other technology assets.·
THE PERSON
·3 years’ previous experience in a similar IT Support / Endpoint security / IT role
·Demonstrated experience in the deployment, configuration and ongoing optimisation of ITSM solutions, including workflow design, automation, integrations and development.
·Proficiency in network configuration and hardware troubleshooting
·Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
·Effective communicator to explain technical skills to non-technical team members.
·Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
·Experience in managing IT projects is a plus.
·Attention to details and commitment to maintaining high security standards.·

Pay: £32,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
