POSITION SUMMARY
Arcare's Systems Administrator will be responsible for managing the day-to-day tasks within our Systems team which includes user account administration, business process improvement, system backups, central printer management, and virtual environment monitoring. This position will offer support to users, whether staff or vendors, and troubleshoot any problems that might arise. This may, in certain situations, involve managing the implementation of new computer applications, backup solutions, or third-party updates. The Systems Administrator is to work to ensure the integrity of high availability systems to provide maximum useability.

Essential Functions Statement(s) Actively manages the roll-out of new systems, new application plans, and implementations Trains technical staff how to use new software and hardware developed and/or acquired Leads problem-solving efforts often involving third-party vendors Creates technical documentation for internal IT team and end users to further enhance the communication and education Establishes project scopes and provides updates within the designated project management tools Stays current with technological developments pertaining to this job role Responsible for the intake of escalated tickets from Field Services and Network teams Works closely with the Systems team members, including Systems Analysts, other Systems Administrators, and IT Director User groups and file management such as Microsoft Teams groups creation and migration of files to OneDrive and/or Azure Manages Arcare's deployment of endpoint device settings and applications Leads and promotes team involvement regarding systems planning and solutions Leads efforts in developing operational models, processes, and procedures Works with business leaders to recommend solutions to address new business requirements Performs server administration tasks, including security permissions, print services, research event log warnings and errors, and resource monitoring, ensuring system architecture components work together seamlessly Monitors datacenter health using preexisting management tools and respond to hardware issues as they arise; help build, test, and maintain new servers as needed Ability to work on many tasks simultaneously Conducts ongoing, real-time monitoring and detection of incidents and leads response efforts Performs other duties as assigned POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education:
Bachelor's degree in IT related field preferred. Relevant work experience may be substituted for degree requirement upon review and validation.
Experience:
At least three years in an IT environment with exposure to systems administration, IT help desk, desktop support, hardware setup, and/or Microsoft 365 is required. Experience in Hybrid Active Directory, Powershell/Microsoft Graph to operate Microsoft 360 tasks, Windows Server, Microsoft SWL Server preferred.
Computer Skills:
Microsoft Word and Excel; and customized software. Ability to learn and adapt to changing technologies as the organization changes.
